Also placing in the top of the breed for maternal traits with a herd builder of 171 to place him in the top 4% of the breed and heifer pregnancy and stay ability of 3% and 9% respectively. With all the growth, carcass and female traits he still ranks in the top 34% for maintenance energy as well. Red Brylor Kuruba 321T- 1298680- 2/27/2007
Kuruba came to us as a high seller on Brylor’s fall “Tradition with a Vision” sale in 2008. 321T is a very complete stylish made female with a picture perfect udder that you don’t find on too many red cows. She is a correctly made and very well balanced daughter of Mulberry 26P and she has a definite sweetness about her. Her 1st effort produced our 2nd high selling bull on our spring bull sale. We are definitely looking forward to more progeny for this great young female. We had tried to buy Kuruba’s dam Red Dawn Golden Kuruba 29L when she sold but our powder was wet as she commanded a tag of $14,250 when the gavel fell. 29L is a own daughter of the Canadian maternal legend SSS Zama Pine 37S and her dam Red Geis Kuruba 5’92 who is royally bred in her own right being a full sister to breed legend Geis Prime Rib. Pedigree, production and eye appeal make 321T a definite donor cow.
